The Swiss Existential Risk Initiative (CHERI) focuses on mitigating global catastrophic risks that arise from emerging technologies. Our work involves cultivating a network of students and young professionals dedicated to this cause.

Established in 2021, CHERI has consistently supported emerging talent through our annual research fellowship program. The fellowship is designed to foster the next wave of leaders in risk reduction. Our collaborative efforts extend across various sectors, including academia, industry, government, and non-governmental organizations, to build a comprehensive approach to reducing global catastrophic risks.
